As a lifelong student of music, music engulfed DLK’s life from a very young age. Raised in Bronx New York, DLK was exposed to many genres of music, from Latin music coming from the local bodegas to Jazz music from the crate of records his dad use to play. DLK learned how to play the organ and drums as a youth. He learned to play music by ear and eventually found himself playing in his local church. While in high school DLK became interested in synths and began writing and arranging his own songs. He pursued a BA in applied music at Seton Hall University and started his career as a Music Producer while in the process. DLK has created music brands based on the type of music he writes and produces. With musical productions in the genres of Soulful EDM, Praise & Worship, Lounge, Soul and Urban Gospel & Christian Hip-Hop, his love for sound has given him a passion for using music to influence and touch the lives of people in a positive way.
